Social Committee
Awaiting Updated Information.

The Social committee is truly multi-tasking.
We maintain contact with the management of our regular venue the Cooden Beach Golf Club, ensuring that the Club's needs are met for our fortnightly meeting nights as well as our fifth Tuesday meetings when our partners are invited and for which we have special speakers and a two course meal.
The club membership in July 2019 numbered 42 including Honorary Members. We consider that fellowship is an essential element in the success of our club and to promote esprit de corps as well as the very important inclusion of our spouses, partners and families. Members of this committee plan and organise a variety of activities throughout the year, ranging across social, sport and cultural trips, visits, performances and events. Details of these will be listed in our Future Events programme as they are arranged and will provide dates, times and locations.
Our club's regular meetings take place on the first and third Tuesday of the month (and fifth Tuesdays whenever they occur, as referred to previously) and the first Tuesday is a business meeting when officers and committees make reports to the membership. The third Tuesday is a speaker meeting and this committee identifies and invites appropriate speakers to attend our meetings and entertain/inform the membership.
The committee members act as hosts for all our regular meetings, welcoming guests and visitors and ensuring that their needs are met.
