Our club members are involved in a number of sporting competitions and the Sport Officer is responsible for arranging the interclub competitions, team selection and the administration associated with these events.

District Snooker Team Finals

more Boscombe RC were the worthy winners (6 -3) in the this years final held on 3 June 2019 at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club. Nevertheless our club team put in respectable performance and everyone had an enjoyable evening.

more Unfortunately we lost this one, but congratulations go to the winners Sturminster Newton Rotary Club.


more At 1.30PM on Thursday 25 August at Oakley Bowling Club the match to decide whether team Deane would reach another final took place. The team to meet Southsea castle was 1 Jim Lawson 2 Jim Graydon 3 Jonathan Rouse 4 and Skip Kevin Vickers.

Bowls - High Drama at Malshanger

more Last night the Bowls team met Southampton Magna in the first round of the Rotary District 1110 bowls competition. Although very close, at the end it was a great result for Basingstoke Deane Rotary team, who just won by a small margin.
