Purple4Polio

Some of the ways Verwood Rotary have supported to raise funds for this cause

Focus on the Crocus

Verwood Rotary has previously planted 5000 crocuses on Ferret Green.  These should become apparent during early spring.

These Purple Flowers represent the colour of ink dabbed on a child finger when they have been immunised against Polio

We continue to raise awareness and funds through the wearing of the Purple Rotary Crocus Buttonhole. The Crocus is a flower which symbolises the story of the Polio eradication programme.
