Robert Haig was installed as President of the Rotary Club of West Fife at the Club's weekly meeting on Tuesday 26th June 2012 at the Queensferry Hotel, North Queensferry.

Robert (64) originally from Loanhead, Midlothian is a qualified Mechanical Engineer who's career has seen him working in the marine hydraulics industry before moving to the brewing and later ports industry, where he was responsible for the ports of Grangemouth, Burntisland, Kirkcaldy and Methil, before moving into project engineering.
Mr Haig joined Rotary six years ago and was elected as Junior Vice in 2012 and Senior Vice last year.
He and his wife Roseann live on Halbeath Road with their two year old West Highland Terrier "Monty",  and both are members and Elders at Dunfermline Abbey Church.
In his Presidential year Mr Haig seeks to focus on local communities of West Fife and support local charities. The new Senior Vice is to be Mr Donald MacKay and the new Junior Vice is Ewan Archibald, both from Crossford.
