Wensleydale Walk

Sun, Jul 29th 2012 at 12:00 am -

The annual walk around Wensleydale took place on Sunday the 29th of July.

Rotarians Sanderson, Smith, Waterhouse, Robinson and Ratcliffe, together with Pauline, Dianne, Judith, Marilyn and Judith enjoyed a 4 mile saunter from Leyburn to Wensley, which followed a good pub lunch at the Three Horseshoes Inn at Wensley and featured no less than two cream teas, one unexpected, halfway around the walk, when we chanced upon a farmer's wife, serving scones, cake and Wensleydale cheese from her pretty caravan
