The annual Denbigh Show is always held on the Saturday of the late summer Bank Holiday weekend in August. For a number of years members of this club have assisted the Show Committee by manning the rear gate. This is the gate through which all vehicle traffic comes in and out of the field. Sounds easy! Problems arise about who is allowed to bring a vehicle in, how long it can stay in and to make sure that it leaves before the show starts. I think we have heard every reason that there is as to why a person must bring his or her vehicle in!
We do this as a service to the community of Denbigh and in doing so we have a great deal of fellowship and fun.
This year (2013) we also had a Rotary presence on the field with a tent in which we had a display of the type of activities members of the club had been engaged in during the Rotary year 2012-13. Hopefully this will taken our Rotary message to a wider audience,
