Charlie, winner of the Hallcross School RIBI Young Chef 2016

Young Chef 2016/17

Charlie Graham from Hallcross School was the winner of the local Rotary GB&I Young chef competitoin. He prepared, cooked and served a 3 course meal for 2 people for a budget of £15 and all done within 2 hours! He served Bruschietta with tomatoe, basil and balsamic vinegar, wild scottish salmon with chorizo served with vine roasted tomatoes and asparagus and finished with Charlies triple chocolate pot. The judges awarded him a very high score and were impressed with his organisational skills as well as the taste of finished meal.

Doncaster St Leger Rotary Club works with a number of organisations involved with the younger generation including schools,scout and guide groups.

In 2019 we will sponsor young people to attend Rotary Youth Leadership schemes, participate in a District 1220 Music event and a District Young Chef competition

RIBI District 1270 Young Musician Final

more Local Rotary clubs organised a District Final of their Young Musician Competition at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College on Saturday 5th April. This very successful event showcased musical talent from 11-18yr olds from across our area.
