The Beds and Luton Rotary Technology Tournament 2013

Every year the Rotary Clubs get together to hold a Technology Tournament for Luton schools, and schools in the surrounding area. This year on Friday 1 March 33 teams took part from 11 schools, and two teams of teachers took part too.

There was a buss of anticipation as the students entered the auditorium realising there was a considerable challenge ahead.  The task was to design and build a weight powered vehicle.

The Tournament is a really good example of Rotary working with the schools.  The pupils learn more about teamwork and design and they can be seen enjoying themselves. This was confirmed later when one of the students emailed to thank Rotary and said it was a brilliant day and well run.
