Our Club works with many local organisations to help, support and deliver on more localised projects. Just a few of the events supported appear in the following slide shows and accompanying events.
Thurso Rotary Club gives assistance to a number of local organisation where funding is required or where support is required at an event.
The Club helps and supports many local charities financially and also operationally by marshalling and helping at local events.
The committee has organised and helped at a variety of events over the years. Here are just a few that come readily to mind:
- The Fireworks and Bonfire for November 5th
- Scrabster Fair for the Seamens' mission
- The Thurso Lifeboat Fair
- Thurso Hogmanay Party
- Thurso Gala
- Christmas visits to Thurso Care Homes with the Interact Club
- In May each year the Club assists at the Castle of Mey 10k Run
- Beach and River side litter picks are a regular occurance
