Foundation is the very heart of Rotary.  We are more than just members of a club, we are the trustees/keepers of Foundation, and by giving freely to Foundation, both directly and through our efforts, we fulfil that trust.  It is OUR VERY OWN Charity. Its purpose is to advance world understanding, good will and peace throughout the world by its various grants, scholarships and exchanges. It is one of the foremost non governmental foundations with its educational support programme, and is the largest private scholarship endowment in the third world.

In addition to supporting our Charity through our club, individual members may also support privately and become members of the Foundation by gift aid, legacies and endowments.

The Rotary Foundation is Rotary's own charity, supported by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation and generous donations from the general public who share its vision of a better world.
