The Rotary Club of Market Bosworth 4th Santa Fun Run took place in the beautiful surroundings of Market Bosworth Country Park and was again blessed with glorious autumn sunshine.
This event continues to increase in popularity and attracted 83 adults and children of widely ranging abilities and fitness. We even had entrants from the USA: the Stalling family from Clayton, North Carolina. All remarked on thoroughly enjoyable event..
In the children's section this year's winners were:
1st: Eden MacIsaac
2nd: Faolan Kelly
3rd: Aliyah Shafiq.
In the adult section:
1st: Greg Jones
2nd: Ian Simpson
3rd: Adam Zavalis.
The Fun Run included a dog walkers' section in which the excited animals led their owners at their pace, no doubt with a few deviations along the way.
Over £700 was raised for our charities, an increase of £300 on last year.
