About RYLA

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is one of the most successful Rotary programmes run by Rotary clubs around the world. The enjoyable and intensive training programme is for small groups of young people in specified age categories, covering the spectrum from 14 years to 30 years. RYLAs in different areas have different age categories which reflects the course content.

RYLA offers the leaders of the future a chance to get a head start at an early age. Motivated  young people attend a seminar, camp, or workshop - generally three to ten days in duration, organised by local Rotary clubs. A RYLA programme gives young people and young adults the chance to apply their leadership and communication skills, share leadership ideas and experiences in a safe, enjoyable but challenging environment intended to take them out of their comfort zone and improve their leadership potential.

Whether you are a secondary school student, university student, or young professional, RYLA provides a unique opportunity for leadership training and personal development.
