Douglas Brands Tested the Club Membership

Our very own Quiz Master Douglas Brands tested us this evening with questions covering local Inverclyde organisations, people and events.  The average age of the Club membership exceeds 60 years but there were whispers that Douglas must of thought it was 160 as many of the answers required precise dates in the 19th century.  Douglas had brought along his own supporters club as we were delighted to welcome his Dad (Tom), to join our merry band.

In true Olympic style gold medals were awarded to the winning trio (see the photo gallery section), who eventually were declared the winners on the flip of the coin after there was no outright leading team following the tie breaker question.
