Charter Night(s)

The Charter Night is the celebration of the founding of the Club.


The Club Charter celebration, this year, was held on November 26th at The Deanwater.

We are stil remembering the superb event last year.

It was the Club's 75th Charter Anniversary Celebration and was held

on 9th October, at The Deanwater Hotel, Woodford.

We were pleased to welcome The Rotary GB&I President John Minhinick,

District Governor Robert Strachan with Caroline, as our guests.

and we had the support of Rotarians with their Presidents

from 22 Clubs from all parts of the District

During the evening DG Robert presented Long Service Award Certificates to nine members of our club.

For the club 76th

Not such a grand occasion this year but another enjoyable evening.

After the Rotary Formalities we were entertained

by Judith Hibbert who presented :-

"An Evening of Music and Mirth"

CHARTER NIGHT 2014

The Club celebrated this special evening on 18th November

at Deanwater Hotel.

The event open to members, partners, family & friends attracted 50 including DG Alastair Bain, a party from Cheadle Club and Alderley Edge & Bollin Valleywith their Presidents.

In course of the evening a 25 years Service Award was presented to member Peter Mayall.

After the Rotary formalities we were entertained by Eric Newton playing his Clarinet in between stories from his life as a Busker.

CHARTER NIGHT 2015

We celebrated at the Deanwater Hotel on the 17th November

After the Toast to The Club, District Governor Nigel Danby presented a 50 Year Service Award to member Peter Broomhead.
