Laura Dennett and Rae Diggins of St Andrew's First Aid, the only dedicated first aid charity, whose mission is to provide every one in Scotland with the highest standards in first aid skills, services and volunteering oppertunities. The presentation cvered the whole range of the activities of StAndrew's First Aid. It is one of Scotland's oldest charities and one of the biggest with 2,000
volunteers. In addition to the largeteam of adult volunteers St Andrew's First has a young people's programme with Badgers for 6-11 year olds and Cadets 11-15 year olds. These activities provide the young folk with life saving skills.
The charity has recently been awarded a one year funding grant to deliver a project to youg people in deprived areas of Glasgow, which will result in over 400 Scottish young adults becoming potential life savers.
