Tue, Jul 7th 2015 at 7:15 pm -

Tuesday 7th July saw a changing of the guard at Llandudno Rotary Club meeting held, as usual, at Queens Hotel in Llandudno. Outgoing President Mike Clutton opened the meeting and then passed on the Presidential Chain to Incoming President Alan Guinn who is, in fact, a Past President of the Club. President Alan then addressed the club outlining his plans and those of his committee chairman, for the coming year. Many of the standing dishes are being retained such as the Snowman Collection, Shoe Boxes, Youth Speaks and a donation to the Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s own charity

Alan is very keen to increase the awareness and appreciation of Rotary within the local populace and some ideas were discussed to this end. Additionally, social events are high on Alan’s priority list including joint ventures with other service organisations and a proposed visit to Bletchley Park.
