More than 250 participants enjoyed glorious weather conditions as they took part in this year’s charity walk from Inverkeithing to Aberdour. A unique feature of the walk is that those taking part can both raise funds for their own organisations and contribute to the club’s charities. This year much of the money raised will go to Myeloma UK, a charity that supports sufferers of a rare bone marrow disease, though some will also go to local organisations. The walk is now a major charity event in west Fife and, since its introduction by the rotary club, has raised over £50,000 for national and local charities.
Club president, Colin Bruce, and fund raising chair, Diane Garriock, thanked all those who took part and the many rotary club members who turned out to support the event.
