Various organisations in attendance on 8th November 2015 for Remembrance Day Bishop Auckland - Lest We Forget

President David Breden was supported by several rotarians and partners for the Remembrance Day Service at the War Memorial. This was held at Bishop Auckland Market Place from 10:30am on Sunday 8th November 2015 and attended by several organisations and members of the public from within the town along with The Mayor of Bishop Auckland, Councillor Colin Race.

At 11am a two minutes silence took place to commemorate this eventful day and pay respects to our brave heroes and civilians.

Following the laying of  the wreaths, a Service of Remembrance was held in St. Anne’s Church in Bishop Auckland Market Place.

Attendees were made aware that the War Memorial had been refurbished this year and now has remembrance inscriptions for other wars such as Falklands, Korean etc
