Dictionaries for Local Primary Schools

DICTIONARIES PRESENTED TO LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Two Rotarians visited two local primary schools recently to present sets of illustrated dictionaries.  This is an annual tradition for the Rotary Club, which has regularly donated and presented dictionaries to a number of primary schools in the Sudbury area.

First stop was St. Gregory Church of England Primary School, Sudbury, where Head Teacher Mrs. Harman thanked the Club and said "the books are beautiful, bright and inviting. They will encourage use by the children and provide an invaluable resource for research."

The Rotarians then visited Pot Kiln Primary School, Great Cornard. On behalf of the school, Head Teacher Ms. Davis said "A huge thank you from Pot Kiln children. They will use the dictionaries to continue to support their learning".
