Our club was formed in 1937 and is made up of members who work together for the good of others through numerous initiatives and fund raising projects. This takes the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" to a level that really makes a difference.
We support a wide range of projects within our local community, working with community groups and our local schools. We also support International Projects such as Rotary Foundation, End Polio Now and Disaster Aid.We enjoy fellowship together, listen to inspiring speakers, plan activities and keep up-to-date with our community and service projects. We also meet for various other Social, Fund Raising and Community Service events. These will be listed in our events calendar. All our meetings can be found on the meeting and events page of this website.
Our major annual events are the beer festival and our Christmas santa sleigh tour where we invite members of local community groups to help us with our fund raising.Rotary is a Dual Gender organisation. We are always looking for new members so if you would like to attend one of our meetings or social events or wish to find out more about what we do, please use either the “Contact” facility at the bottom of this page or e mail membership.nlewrotary@gmail.com
