Our club was formed in 1937 and has a modern and progressive membership of pro-active individuals who work together for the good of others through numerous initiatives and fund raising projects. This takes the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" to a level that really makes a difference.

We support a wide range of projects within our local community, as well as International Projects such as Disaster Relief and End Polio Now.

Since COVID we have changed our meetings schedules and we are holding face to face meetings again.

Our monthly schedule of meetings is as follows:

1st and 4th Tuesdays of the month: 12.30pm at Haydock Park Golf Club. Lunch + speaker

2nd Tuesday is for committee meetings and will be held either at a venue and time to suit the committees or by zoom.

3rd Tuesday of the month:  Business meeting at Newton Sports Club, Crow Lane East, Optional buffet at 6.45pm followed by a 7.30pm start. Committee chairs will report back to club and proposals will be voted on.

5th Tuesday of the month will be a social event

We enjoy fellowship together, listen to inspiring speakers, plan activities and keep up-to-date with our community and projects. We also meet for various other Social, Fund Raising and Community Service events. These will be listed in our events calendar.

Rotary is a Dual Gender organisation.

If you would like to attend one of our meetings or social events or wish to find out more about what we do, please use either the “Contact” facility at the bottom of this page, e mail membership.nlewrotary@gmail.com    or use the links on this website to find more general information about the world-wide Rotary organisation.
