This first stroke awareness event was a great success. In all 219 members of the public had their blood pressure taken and in some instances were adviced to further medical advice. In all 29 members of the club, partners or children helped in carrying out the tests and promoting the event around the town centre. A really trremendous effort for a very worthwhile event.
