Visit to Pigeon's Farm

Rotary Kids Out 2016 Twenty eight youngsters from local schools in March enjoyed an action packed day at Pigeons Farm, Thorney, courtesy of the Rotary Club of March on Wednesday 8th June. Accompanied by twelve carers, the President Christopher Bishop, and members, John Lattimore, Alan Crossley and Paul Garner were there to oversee the ‘fun’. This is an annual ‘all expenses paid’ outing funded by the income generated from the monthly Newspaper Collections in City Road Car Park. It included return coach travel provided as ever by C&G Coaches, admission, snack boxes for lunch, a lollipop during the afternoon and tractor rides. The schools participating were Thomas Eaton School, Wimblington, Cavalry School, Burrowmoor School, All Saints Primary School, Westwood School & Maple Grove. The Rotary Club of March thank the Pubic for their continued support in Newspaper Collection, 2nd Saturday in City Road Car park, 09.00 - 12 noon Robert Freeman
