Rotary funds Gaelic Choir to the tune of £500

To mark the 50th year of the Aberfeldy and District Choir and their long and close association with the Rotary  Club of Aberfeldy the Club presented the Choir with a cheque for £500 at one of their rehearsal nights in the lesser town hall.

In this special year the Choir will be participating in an enhanced programme of events throughout the Country and the monies given will help towards the costs of attending these events.

The photograph shows Club President Eric Slorance presenting the cheque to the Choir conductor May Brown along with Choir members and fellow Rotarians.
