This bowls evening at Appleby Bowls Club starts promptly at 6-30pm with a pie and pea supper, the evening is organized by David Ridehaugh. The cost of the meal will be £6.
Those intending to take part in the bowls need to bring with them some suitable footwear such as trainers or plimsoles in order not to damage the mat.
It had been hoped to have teams from Upper Eden and Barnard Castle but this has not worked out so the evening will be used for members to hone there bowling techniques!
A bar will be open for drinks.
