As part of their tremendous fundraising and awareness building campaign with their Love Hope Strength Foundation, Mike and Jules Peters are walking across North Wales through the middle of June, ahead of their well-known "Snowdon Rocks" event at the summit of Snowdon on 24 June. The whole walk is also being supported by Rotary Clubs across North Wales and the surrounding District.
The walk comes through Llandudno on Wednesday 21 June. Llandudno Rotary Club will be supporting and walking with Mike and Jules, and local residents, visitors and friends are welcome to join in some or all of the day's walking.
The route and estimated timings are as follows -
Depart St David's College at 09.00, walking to Llandudno Hospital, arriving about 09.40. There is a short visit and refreshment break of 30 minutes.
Depart Llandudno Hospital at about 10.15, walking to Venue Cymru, arriving about 10.45.
From Venue Cymru (at 10.45) the walk goes along the Promenade and round the Great Orme to the Rest and Be Thankful Cafe, arriving at about 13.00, when there is a 45 minute lunch break.
After lunch, the walk departs the Rest and Be Thankful at 13.45 to continue round the Great Orme and on to the Coast Path along the Conwy Estuary through Deganwy to Conwy, arriving at the Liverpool Arms at about 16.00.
Whether it's a few hundred yards or a few miles come along and join in!
