Breaking the Myths of Rotary

Rotary is not for old and retired people

Rotary is for old and retired people

Yes, we have older members because joining Rotary joins you to a family of likeminded people who enjoy staying together as friends...Rotarians.

But to join Rotary you just need to be 18 or over. I’m sure the people pictured above wouldn’t consider themselves old or retired.

Rotary thrives on having young and vibrant members to keep our clubs and our activities vibrant and effective.

New ideas, new attitudes, new skills are all brought by young, new members.

All clubs are different, if a Rotary club doesn’t suit what you are looking for then try another. With over 30.000 clubs around the world you are guaranteed to find one to suit you.

A child of the technological age? Rotary even has e-clubs, meeting over the Internet but still sharing Rotary’s common goals of fellowship and service to the community.

Rotary is a collective of around 1.2 million likeminded people from 30,000+ clubs around the world who use their skills to give service to others while having fun at the same time.

Could YOU be one of those people? If you are over 18 and interested then just do a search online for Rotary Club Finder to find the nearest club to you.
