V Festival Clear Up 2017
Our volunteers clear up and collect bedding for refugees
Once again volunteers from the club joined Rotarians from clubs in 1240 District to salvage useful items left by the "V Festival Goers" at Hylands Park.
Our target was once again to collect sleeping bags, bedding rolls & blankets for Hope and Aid Direct - the local charity run by Charles Storer.
At the end of the Monday afternoon, Barry Turner presented Charles with a cheque for £1500 - part of the profits from the Annual Charity Golf Day in May.
