Famous Somerset cricketer, Marcus Trescothick launches Taunton Rotary Club’s 2018 Cycle Ride for charity. This year to be held at Richard Huish College on 6th May.  See how you can get involved and raise money for your favourite charity.

The event this year, which is taking place on Sunday 6th May will, for the first time, start from Richard Huish College with new cycle routes and considerably more activities to attract families and young people. With demonstrations by the renowned mountain bike stunt rider Andrei Burton and entertainment  fro Big Top ManiaCycle Circus and Wacky Bikes, this event is a must for everyone.

Marcus Trescothick launched the Charity Cycle Ride (10th April) alongside the Deputy Mayor Caroline Herbert, Rotary President Roger Priest and staff and students from the College. The launch was held on the same day as the College’s own Cycle to College Day promoted by SUSTRANS.  Students and staff took to their bikes to support the SUSTRANS project,  ‘Getting Around Taunton’ and to promote the Club’s charity Cycle Ride.
