On February 21st 2018, Beeston Rotarians Bruce Liddle and Jack Walton helped with the erection of an eco greenhouse at Beeston Fields Primary and Nursery School.
The structure is made up of a wooden frame, kindly purchased by local estate agents, Robert Ellis, who also sent two members of staff to help with the build, and the walls are created using 1100 plastic bottles, collected by the children at the school.
The main picture shows the team completing the roof of the greenhouse. From left to right are Rebecca Lord from Robert Ellis, Graham Hayes, John Clifford and Peter Boyd, all from the Rotary Club of Wollaton Park, together with Jack.
John and his colleagues from Wollaton Park provided the much need expertise to put the thing together.
The second photo includes Bruce, second from the right, inside the greenhouse.
