There are approximately 12,800 people with dementia living in Suffolk now and by 2035, this is expected to increase to 25,000 people.
In 2018 Rotary Club of Felixstowe Landguard made a donation of £1,300 to the Memory Lane Dementia Support Group. This new support group meets every Friday at the Salvation Army Hall in Cobbold Road from 11.00am until 3.00pm and is where people living with dementia and their carers can come for friendship, conversations, activities and games.
