Supporting Young People - Crucial Crew

Crucial Crew is a senario based safety training experience conducted by various safety agencies throughout Norfolk. Wymondham Rotarians support this work in a practical way by keeping to supervise group of young people between the various scenarios.

The following letter of thanks from Goshia Zeilinska of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was received following the last Crucial Crew at Letton Hall on Thursday 8 March 2018.

Dear David,

On behalf of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, I would like to thank your Rotary Club for supporting Breckland Crucial Crew at Letton Hall last week. It went extremely well which was very much due to the tremendous support we received from all the organisations and volunteers.

We had over 700 pupils from 31 schools in attendance and I believe they all have learnt something. I have already received some feedback from schools and a couple of quotes is attached below:

“Thank you so much for arranging the Crucial Crew event, I am sure it takes an awful lot of co-ordination!  Our children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I am sure they took several safety messages away with them. “ -  Hockering Primary Academy

“I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and the organisation that went into Crucial Crew.  The event ran incredibly smoothly this year and, as always, the children get a lot of important information in a short space of time.  Please pass on my thanks to all the contributors too. Thanks and well done.” - Miss Leona Brown, Head of School, Mundford Church of England Primary Academy

Please pass my sincerest thanks to all your colleagues who helped at Letton Hall last week.

Once again, thank you for your help on Thursday 8th  March.

Kind Regards,
