Community Action
On this page we describe the activities that the Satellite Group members undertake to support the community by giving their time and expertise.

Rotary Satellite Group (RSG) members are willing to give their time in support of the local community in a variety of ways. The Group is still relatively small and so far it has focussed its efforts on raising funds for local charities. However, as the Group grows, it is our intention to become more involved with community activities.
We normally assist with Wymondham events such as the Remembrance Day parade in the town and the Jazz picnic.
In the past we have helped to clear part of the Star Throwers garden and supported the Wymondham College careers advice day. We have also assisted the Norwich and Wymondham Foodbanks by helping with the logistics of transporting food to where it is needed.
Other initiatives will follow as the membership grows.
