Peace Center Giving: Club Meeting
Jannine Birtwistle, from the RI Committee for Peace Center Giving, updated us all about the Peace Centres.
In the Autumn/Winter of 2018, the Iberia Satellite had a joint meeting with the Silves Rotary Club. Our guest speaker was Jannine Birtwistle (accompanied by Paul) who is a member of the Rotary club of Guernsey and a member of the RI Committee for Peace Center Giving. She updated us all about the Peace Centres and inspired us to recognise that everything we do in our communities is in some way contributing to peace. Thank you Jannine. And thank you to Sue Butler Cole for excellent food at her and David's lovely home. We look forward to working with the Silves club again.

One of our projects is collecting ring pulls from drinks cans to send to the Purple Community Fund, who work with communities providing training opportunities.
