End Polio Day, 24th October 2018

Club President Robin Kemp assisted by Newcastle Mayor Gill Heesom & Rotarians David Morgan, Gerald Jones & Vernon Wilson.

Our club chose to recognise World Polio Day this year by enhancing the local are for residents. We planted 5 silver birch saplings and hundreds of crocus and daffodil bulbs on a grassed area opposite Starbucks on the A34 approach to Newcastle under Lyme.

The projectwas completed recently by Club President Robin Kemp and Newcastle Mayor Gill Heesom assisted by Rotarians David Morgan, Gerald Jones and Vernon Wilson. Thanks must also go to Simon and Claire from Newcastle Borough Council Green Team
