Basingstoke Festival of Transport 22 August 2021

Sun 22nd August 2021 at 11.00 am - 4.00 pm

A great day out for all the family, whether you're a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday. Free entry too

January 2021 Update

Over the past few weeks, the Festival Committee has held several meetings with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council regarding the current state of COVID and Government Regulations. They are the landowners and support Basingstoke Deane Rotary in the running of the Festival. With regret we have concluded that, rather than progressing towards the May date and committing / losing money, we should once again defer the running of the Festival until 22 August 2021. Even then we do so as much in hope as expectation.

With the likelihood that the COVID regulations will still be in place in some format in August 2021, the Festival Committee have taken the decision that the number of entries for Exhibitor vehicles and Car Club vehicles will each be reduced from 450 to 350. This will allow additional space between vehicles and allow walkways to be widened, however it does limit the number of entries. A waiting list had already been started for May and will be continued for the August event.

As time progresses, we will keep in touch with those registered as bringing vehicles or on the waiting list to keep them informed regarding the event.

Basingstoke Festival of Transport Committee

We expect that the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG, will once again be filled with over 700 vehicles at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport 2021. We are hoping for a fine day and for the Government's COVID regulations to allow the event to take place. We look forward to seeing both exhibitors and visitors come and enjoy themselves. It is a wonderful family day out.

As in previous years, there will be a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic, vintage, commercial, fire engines and military trucks. There will also be a variety of specialist car clubs, trade stalls and catering outlets. Basingstoke Festival of Transport is a great day out for all the family, whether you're a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday! This event is free of charge both for exhibitors and visitors.  Parking is available at Old Common, London Road (use RG21 4BY and follow the parking signs) for £2.

So, if you are the owner of any of the above types of vehicles, or someone wishing to come and visit - please come and join us for a great day out.  Come along on the 22nd August 2021 to the Basingstoke Festival of Transport at the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG.

Should there be any queries, please email bfot-enquiries@outlook.com and we will get back to you.
