Basingstoke Deane Rotary
are once again organising the
Basingstoke Festival of Transport
on 14 May 2023
We were so lucky with the weather at last May’s Festival of Transport and wish to thank all that came along and especially those exhibiting their wonderful vehicles, without which we would not have a show. Basingstoke Deane Rotary are now organising the 2023 Festival which will be held on 14 May 2023 in the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG. We hope to see you there!
A great variety of around 800 vehicles filling the park will mean another fabulous day with something for everyone. We look forward to seeing both exhibitors and visitors for what we hope will be another wonderful family day out and one the highlights of the year in Basingstoke. This event remains free of charge for both for exhibitors and visitors. Parking is available for visitors (those not exhibiting) for a small fee at Old Common, London Road (use RG21 4BY).
As in previous years, there will be a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic and vintage cars, lorries, buses, fire engines and military trucks. There will also be a variety of specialist car clubs, trade stalls and catering outlets.
For regular updates on the 2023 Festival, please look back at this page. We will endeavour to update this page regularly as well as our Facebook page frequently.
Our Facebook page can be found at https://www.facebook.com/bstokefot .
Latest Updates
Further to the last update, the invitations to vehicle owners have been sent and those for stallholders are on their way. Invitations for Car Clubs will be sent later in January.
For the individual vehicles there has been a wonderful response. So much so that we have had to close off the Post War cars after just 48 hours and start a Waiting List for them. Some of the other categories are heading towards a Waiting List as well. We continue to be a very popular Festival and are usually over-subscribed quite early for most categories and even trade stands.
Note, if you are not on our databases, you will not be sent an invitation and could lose out on a place. If we don’t already have your details and you would like to be added to the databases, please complete and email the relevant Application Form below. Our Terms and Conditions of Entry are also below and should be read before you provide us with your information.
Please email any other queries to bfot-enquiries@outlook.com.
