Basingstoke Festival of Transport 22 August 2021

Sun, Aug 22nd 2021 at 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

A great day out for all the family, whether you're a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday.

Free entry too

We expect that the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG, will once again be filled with nearly 700 vehicles at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport 2021. We are hoping for a fine day and for the Government's COVID regulations to allow the event to take place. We look forward to seeing both exhibitors and visitors come and enjoy themselves. It is a wonderful family day out.

As in previous years, there will be a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic, vintage, commercial, fire engines and military trucks. There will also be a variety of specialist car clubs, trade stalls and catering outlets. Basingstoke Festival of Transport is a great day out for all the family, whether you are a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday! This event is free of charge both for exhibitors and visitors.  Parking is available at Old Common, London Road (use RG21 4BY and follow the parking signs) for £2.

June 2021 Update

21 June was meant to be ‘Freedom Day’ with all the restrictions being lifted.  As we all know, this has now been extended to 19 July with no promise that it will all end then.

Basingstoke Deane Rotary continue to work with Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council in planning the Festival for 22 August, but with one eye on the possibility that we may have to cancel everything.  We hope not!

The site planning review has confirmed that there will be nearly 700 vehicles for the public to view.  In addition, there will be many stalls for purchasing all sorts of items, mainly motor related but also covering other items.  Larger stall areas will include Think Ford, Ducati, Classic Car Conversions and more.

Entries for vehicles and car clubs to the Festival are now closed.  We have had a wonderful response from vehicle owners and are extremely grateful to them all.  There are still a few stalls that can be taken up and the application form is at the bottom of this page.

Basingstoke Festival of Transport Committee

So, if you have entered a vehicle, we will be in touch with you soon to confirm whether your entry has been successful or not.  If you are a member of the public, or an unsuccessful vehicle entrant, why not put the date in your diary and come along to one of the largest exhibitions of vehicles in the area. Come along on the 22nd of August 2021 to the Basingstoke Festival of Transport at the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG.

Should there be any queries, please email bfot-enquiries@outlook.com and we will get back to you.
