Christmas 2023
We again thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Santa Float week. It was wonderful to see all the excited children and their parents greeting us as we approached. The public were very generous, as usual, and a total of £4,290 was raised for local charities. Thanks to everyone in Brighouse Rotary, Brighouse 41 Club, Brighouse Ladies Circle and Brighouse Inner Wheel who come together under Project Local to run this event.
Santa will be touring the usual routes again this year.Please note if the float can't drive down the road it has to be missed out
more We have adopted a section of the Brighouse Canal from Brighouse Basin to Anchor Bridge where we shall be helping to improve the appearance of the canal paths, the flower beds and boxes. Come and help us

more A club for primary school pupils run by the children and facilitated by Rotarians
more Rotary's key humanitarian project to rid the world of polio.
more A professionally run development course for the leaders of tomorrow. Attended by those pupils in 6th form and supported by Rotary members.
more Nominated Secondary School students receive a cash prize and the Rotary Club of Brighouse Trophy for Community Service.
more Working with Halifax Rotary we distribute Shoeboxes to the schools in our area to be filled with gifts for those less fortunate.
more Helping the British Legion by distributing the poppies to shops and businesses around Brighouse as well as helping on the sale tables in Tesco and Sainsburys.
more "Buy" a light to remember a loved one, all money goes to the President's chosen LOCAL charity.
more We decorate the rest centre and provide refreshments one Saturday in December - allowing the volunteerl team a week off.
more We manage the car park for the event. There is a free vintage bus ride into town and back from the car park.
more While we don't organise the gala we do provide useful support
