Rise Against Hunger Food Packing

An amazing project bringing Rotarians and non Rotarians together to help feed school children in Africa.

Members of the Rotary Club of Coventry Jubilee supported The Rise Against Hunger Campaign which was organised by Diane Miller and her fellow Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Kenilworth. The Rotarians were joined by children from local schools and community groups in Coventry to help them pack. Between 11.30 and 13.00, volunteers packed well over 12000 food packs - a fabulous example of Service Above Self! The total packs made up today was in the region of 30000.

These food packs when re constituted, will feed families of six in Africa.

Rise Against Hunger has been chosen as one of our District Govenor Bala Jaspal Charity for the Rotary Year 2019 - 2020.
