The Club is currently involved in a project to collect used bicycles for transport out to African countries by a charity called Bike Aid Africa. Past-President Bertie Carson, and Rotarians John Perry and Mike McNeice have been undertaking the collection, storage and transport of the bikes to the Bike Aid Africa workshops in Belfast. The most recent batch consisted of 30 bikes and has assisted the charity in supplying 1000 bikes to Africa this year alone.
