Dragons Den 2019

An opportunity for local organisations and individuals to apply for funding. 8 groups applied this year and a total of £2500 was distributed on the evening.

This is an annual event which we started 3 years ago. The aim is to provide a forum for individuals and organisations of different sizes from our local community to apply for funding. Applications are invited through social media posts and newspaper articles. The event in April 2019 was attended by 8 groups and a total of £2500 was distributed between them so everyone went away with something. The evening also provides an opportunity for groups and individuals to talk to each other and encourages collaborative working. It also enables us to promote the work of the club and Rotary,
