In 2020 swimmers raised in excess of £12,500 and after taking a break because of Covid in 2021, we have high hopes that we can match or better this figure in 2022 with proceeds going to our main charity West Norfolk Young Carers as well as to other local charities.
Teams of 6 swim in relays for 55 minutes to complete as many lengths as possible. The teams will be split into several categories and the teams with the most lengths will receive a medal donated by a local business. The aim of the Swimarathon is to raise as much money as possible for our charities. It is a fun, family event and is open to swimmers of all ages and abilities from clubs, schools, businesses and individuals etc.
To enter the Swimarathon, simply download, complete and send us the Team Entry Form.
To help raise as much money as possible and make fundraising easier, we recommend using JustGiving.
Alternatively, download the sponsorship form.
We'd like to thank Adrian Flux Insurance for once again being the Event Sponsor and our many other lane and banner sponsors.
Please take a look back at the previous Swimarathon winners.
An exciting opportunity for children who may not be able to swim 25 metre lengths to take part in this great family event. Teams of 4 will swim lengths of the 10m Learner Pool in relays for 25 minutes. Children under 8 should be supervised by an adult in the pool.
We would be grateful for any sponsorship money you can raise. Please check out the Guidance on Fundraising and Sponsorship Form.
The Team Entry for for the Mini Swimarathon will be available soon.
