In July 1958 the Rotary Club of Wickford was inaugurated, since which time it has been involved in many activities in and around the town. Best known for the Sleigh collections at Christmas and the Fireworks display in the Memorial Park, Wickford Rotary has supported many charities over the years, and continues to do so.
President Mark Williamson welcomed members and guests, including the Rotary District Governor Pauline Dean and her husband Terry to celebrate with us. Inner Wheel President Pat very eloquently wished the Club well for the future, and Members Bob Plimmer and Peter Carter did their double act to remember some of the highlights and achievements over the years.
Entertainment in the form of RitaB got us all up dancing towards the end of the evening. and a wonderful time was had by all.
