President Douglas Dow welcomed ten other members. It was agreed to invite members of the Helensburgh Garelochside club to attend the March 31 weekly lunch when Tom Bowden will speak about the Malawi Project.
Alastair Wilson reported on progress with the Primary Schools Quiz in the Three Villages Hall in Arrochar on Thursday March 20, and expects a minimum of six schools to take part. Three others have expressed an interest, and the cut-off date for signalling participation is this Thursday.
The club discussed the Bridge Night in the Rugby Club on Friday March 21 in the light of reported worries among bridge players about meeting and playing during the corona virus outbreak. It was unanimously agreed to postpone the event until September.
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Ron Dunachie, who celebrated his birthday the previous Thursday.
