World Polio Day

To mark World Polio Day this evening Rotarians planted thousands of purple crocus bulbs on the corner of Sidegate and Mill Wynd.

On World Polio Day, 24 October, we planted bulbs just outside the Maitlandfiled House Hotel on the main entrance to the south of Haddington. In the spring a message appropriate to our club in 2020 will be displayed when the crocus appear.

To increase our efforts to eradicate Polio we had a stall at Haddington Farmers Market on 26 October selling purple crocus bulbs and providing information on all the work Rotary does in our community.
