Swimarathon 2020

Team pictures and results from our great 2nd Swimarathon. Huge thanks to all our sponsors, helpers and participants

Our second Swimarathon held on 8 February 2020 was  huge success.

Huge thanks to everyone who took part and raised money for local charities.  we will know the total raised shortly and will update this page then, but hope to exceed £15000.

The event is not about competing but taking part and everyone is a winner.  we hope you all enjoyed the event and will come back next year and persuade friends to take part as well.

The team that swum most lengths and best Sports Club team was the Big Boys tean of the West norfolk Swimming club who swam an amazing 314 lengths - the last 5 minutes with all six swimmers in the water and surging up and down the pool was spectacular.

The teams swimming the most lengths in other categories were:

Best primary school age - The Filipino Swimmers 165 lengths

Best secondary School age - KES Academy students 194 lengths

Best organisation - Intensive Care unit Queen Elizabeth Hospital 175 lengths

Best Charity - Norfolk and Waveny Mind 1 155 lengths
