Catering at the Castle 2 Castle swim

Every June, volunteers from Falmouth Rotary cater at the Castle 2 Castle swim event.

Every June, Falmouth Rotary volunteers cater at the famous RNLI Castle-to-Castle swim event. Rotarians serve up hot sausages and bacon with tea and coffee to hundreds of hungry helpers and swimmers in the shadow of St Mawes Castle.  Hundreds of swimmers take part each year.

In 2018, 280 swimmers took part. In 2019 this increased to 450.

Update:

June 2025

Falmouth Rotarians fed swimmers and RNLI volunteers at the RNLI Castle 2 Castle swim on Sunday 22nd June. Bacon and sausage baps, tea and coffees were greatly received, and all proceeds will go to the Falmouth Rotary local charities. This annual one-mile swim from Pendennis Castle to St Mawes Castle takes place on the Roseland Peninsula. This year 552 participants took part and raised over £100,000 for the RNLI.
