BLOW YOUR OWN TRUMPET 2021/22
The Rotary Year 2021/22 saw a welcome return to face to face meetings and charitable fundraising following all the problems of the Covid pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
We re-commenced face to face meetings on a fortnightly basis at a new venue, Stanwick Hotel, back in July 2021. Members voted to continue with this frequency of meetings, following the success of the virtual meetings on this basis during the lockdowns, and also favoured the complete transition to evening meetings rather than lunchtime. This has been a key factor with our membership development in 2021-22, with 8 new members recruited.
Many thanks to all concerned for a great year of achievement.
