Coventry Jubilee Responds to COVID 19

Coventry Jubilee Supporting Coventry Foodbank

Since the start of lockdown and us staying at Home, our club members have donated around £2500 alongside a District grant of £250 to the Coventry Foodbank.

We have also donated to the Warwickshire Scrubbers Group who are making scrubs for Coventry University Hospital and local health care centres.

As well as our support for the Coventry Foodbank this year, we have also supported the Coventry Haven Women’s Aid with donations from our Club Members. We have also supported alongside our fellow Rotary Clubs in Coventry the Kid’s Out Toy Appeal, which provides a box of appropriate toys for every child living in a refuge. Our latest donation to the Coventry Women’s Haven Aid will be used to buy gift vouchers so that the Mum’s have the opportunity to buy their Children a gift, as many Ladies and their Children need to leave their homes very quickly without being able to take their own possessions.
