Welcome from the President of the Rotary Club of Falmouth UK 2023-2024

Welcome message from David Stewart who looks forward to his year as President of Falmouth Rotary 2023-2024:

I am honoured to be the new President of Falmouth Rotary Club from July 2023 to June 2024.  The Club is 101 years old and still thriving. We continue to support the Falmouth community and projects further afield through the considerable efforts and skills of our members.

In Rotary, we are going through a period of change at all levels of the organisation, Globally, Regionally and Locally. This is never more clear than at a Club level where Clubs may now exist as we do today, virtually (online via WhatsApp), as Direct Membership (to Rotary GB&I) or as Passport Clubs that do not meet for meals as such but meet to plan or perform specific activities

In Falmouth we have also moved from being a club that meets formally every week to a club that meets formally on the Second and Fourth Monday each month and has social meetings on the other Mondays in the month. Our projects/activities, in which we involve ourselves, are very varied and all members have the opportunity to become involved, regardless of age or ability.

We welcome anyone, who is interested in helping others, to come and join us for lunch one Monday and learn about what we do and how you can join in the fun.
