Falmouth Rotary has donated £1000 to Cornwall Air Ambulance

In another bid to help the community, The Rotary Club of Falmouth has made a donation of £1,000 to Cornwall Air Ambulance.

President of the Rotary Club, Glenn Wilkes, said: “The effect the Coronavirus is having in reducing fundraising opportunities for charities such as Rotary does not mean that we are stopping our support for local community needs. The air ambulance is a critical resource for Cornwall and we are delighted to make this donation.”

Gemma Collins, community fundraiser for Cornwall Air Ambulance, thanked the Rotarians by saying:

"Your incredibly kind donation of £1,000 towards our ‘Future Lives Depend on You’ campaign, will go towards our running costs, ensuring that the we can maintain our operational hours so that our crew of Critical Care Paramedics, are ready to respond to someone in their moment in need.”
