Quiz Night in aid of Shelterbox (November 2020)

On Friday 27th November we piloted an online Quiz to club members. It was a fun night with 15 teams competing. Our Satellite Chair helped with the technology on the evening and the questions were challenging but fun, with six rounds, four of which, a joker could be played, doubling the score for that round, the caveat being that nobody knew what subject each round was. Each team cost just £5 and all money raised will go to Shelter Box.

Melon plants and Red Gooseberry Jam for sale in aid of End Polio Now (August 2020)

Club member John Beswarick and his with Jackie raised money for End Polio Now by selling Galia melon seedlings and homemade red gooseberry jam.
